Otafuku Okonomi Sauce

Okonomi sauce is a dark japanese sauce that is used for the preparation of Okonomi and Takoyaki. It is also used as a marinade and as a dip.

Ingredients: Tomato, onion, apple, carrot, date, peach, orange, garlic, vinegar, water, glucose-fructose syrup, sugar, soy sauce (soybeans, wheat, salt, alcohol), salt, hydrolyzed soy protein, dye E150a, acidity regulator E262i, modified starch, spices, flavor enhancer (E621, E631, E627), oyster extract, chicken extract, scallop extract, fish extract, pork extract, thickener: Tamarind, E412, kelp, yeast extract, shiitake.

Nicht mein Geschmack…

An sich merke ich schon die hohe Qualität und bestimmt gibt es viele, die den Geschmack mögen. Aber ich habe es mir mehr umami oder pikant würzig vorgestellt. Otafuku okonomiyaki Sauce ist jedoch ganz klar eher Richtung süß sauer, was nicht unbedingt mein Fall ist. Wer nicht auf süß sauer steht, dem würde ich es nicht empfehlen. Aber durch die Qualität und intensive des Geschmacks gebe ich trotzdem 4/5 Sternen.
