Korean sliced Rice cake for Tteokguk.
Preparation for Tteokguk/Ricecakesoup with Beef:
Ingredients: rice cake 150g, beef brisket 100g, kelp, 1/2 spring onion, 1/4 onion, egg, water 300ml
Seasoned beef: soy sauce 1/2 teaspoon, garlic chopped 1/2 teaspoon, spring onion chopped 1/2 teaspoon, sugar 1/2 teaspoon, salt.
Soak the beef brisket in water to remove residual blood. Then boil the beef in 300ml of water until tender. Scoop the beef out of the pot and cut into bite size pieces. Place back into the boiling water. Add dried kelp, mushroom and onion. Rinse the prepared sliced rice cake and add to the broth. Stir well. Add welsh onion and minced garlic. Season broth with salt and soy sauce.
